SHEBA TRAVEL SERVICE SHARE COMPANY (SHEBA TRAVEL) was
established on August 10, 1965 in accordance with the
commercial laws of Ethiopia. SHEBA TRAVEL, the premier
Ethiopian private company in the country's travel service &
agency business, was established with a capital of Birr
60,000 (sixty Thousand Birr).
In 1966 i.e within a year of its establishment, SHEBA TRAVEL
received IATA's (International Air Transport Association's)
recognition & approval to represent & act as its agent. By
the virtue of this status, SHEBA TRAVEL became an authorized
sales agent for more than 200 IATA member airlines.
Later in late 80's SHEBA TRAVEL became the premier General
Sales Agent (GSA) for British Airway (BTA) in Ethiopia. And
currently Sheba Travel is the PSA for Gulf Air.
SHEBA TRAVEL has been established and owned by members who
have experienced of working in various trade & investment
fields. It is registered as per the commercial Code of
Ethiopia in Addis Ababa, under Trade & Industrial
Development Bureau with a capital of Birr 2,500,000.00 (Two
Million Five Hundred Thousand Birr). Its annual turnover is
of Birr 120,000,000.00 (One Hundred Twenty Million Birr).
